Scherto at Humanity Rising Global Solutions Summit on 14 June 2021
On 14th June 2021, Humanity Rising Global Solutions Summit featured a dialogue between Scherto Gill and Prof Kenneth Gergen about a relational approach to regenerative education as a pathway for global transformation. In particular, Scherto suggests that we must re-centre our effort on human’s responsibility for our collective well-being and co-flourishing.
Scherto writes about Silence and Love
Almost all religious and faith traditions, as well as many non-religious cultures, celebrate silence and take silence as their spiritual foundation. From monastic vows, to meditative contemplation, from mindfulness practices, to retreats in nature, the quietude is seen as invaluable in focusing our attention on what is deeply within, but also what is beyond ourselves, in preparation for prayers, and in anticipation of divine wisdom.

G20 Interfaith Forum Education Working Group: A Time to Heal
A Time to Heal calls for all to take responsibility for our collective future. For the G20 Interfaith Forum Education Working Group, it is important that at such time we engage with global adolescents (aged 14 – 18), listen to their voices, and integrate their perspectives in re-imagining post-COVID educational transformation.
